We are sold out of starter colonies for 2023.

Thinking of starting your beekeeping journey, but not sure where to start? I was  nervous when I started out, too. Martin Luther King Jr. once said 'You don't have to see the whole staircase, just take the first step." If our 8 year old can do it, we are confident you can, too!

Kids and animals are always running around the farm and most of our customers are are new to bees. Calm bees from healthy genetics are the focus. As a result, we offer Italian and Buckfast lines to help make your experience a great one.

I will give you a two week notice when your bees are ready for pick up. I will provide you with instructions on what to do with your bees when you get home. Nature determines the timeline, but pick up is usually in May. Below we offer a few options for you to get started with your beekeeping journey.

Option 1: 4 Frame 'Nuc' Colony: $250

-May pick up

-Includes 2 frames of brood, laying queen, 1 frame of feed, 1 open brood frame in a corrugated plastic nuc box

-Placing an order for this item means you are just buying the bees, you still require a permanent home for them as your colony grows.

-Best for those with experience

Option 2: 4 Frame 'Nuc' with March to October Virtual Group Coaching Membership: $595

-Discounted nuc colony when combined with Monthly virtual group coaching .

We find many new beekeeper's lose new hives because they do not have guidance in the first year to put the correct protocols in place.

-Nuc colony includes 2 frames of brood, laying queen, 1 frame of feed, 1 open brood frame in a corrugated plastic nuc box

-Best for those new to beekeeping
