The Farm

Nestled on 25 serene + biodiverse acres of the Niagara Region of Ontario, Canada, our farm is located in the heart of Ontario's Wine Country. We specialize in herbaceous peonies, garden roses, rare breed livestock, honey bees, and farmhouse goods.

Since 2013, we've had the honour and privilege of being the day to day stewards of this beautiful land. As treaty people, it is important to us that we acknowledge that the land on which we farm is the traditional territory of the Haudenosaunee and Anishinaabe peoples.

Stewards of the Land

To encourage biodiversity on the farm and honour its' history, over 5000 trees have been planted, bird houses + habitats have been added, and sustainable practices have been put in place to feed the animals + keep giving back to the land. We are committed to using 100% recyclable products in our packing. Solar power, gravity fed systems, low till and geothermal heating/cooling, and rotational grazing are some of the strategies we use to ensure we are reaching our carbon neutral goals. It's a labour of love intended to preserve and nurture everything this farm has given to us.

We often get asked about the farmhouse and how we achieved the look. It didn't always look like it does now. What you see today is the blood, sweat and tears of Chris.

To transform the house into what you see today, Chris lime-washed the brown brick exterior using a product called Romabio (Arborio White). The timbers were sourced at The Wood Shed in Smithville, and given a mahogany stain using Cutex.
