This is a popular blue egg layer. While they are not as prolific a layer as a Whitings True Blue, they do lay a more deeper blue coloured egg. Eggs are best described as 'sky' blue in colour. We love them best for their quirky combs that flop over and the little crest of feathers that stand up on their heads.

This is an auto-sexing breed, so male chicks hatch out with a white dot on their heads while females appear to have eyeliner on.
